Your day starts on the edge of the city, at the launch site in Greenhill. You’ll meet the crew just after sunrise, when the light is soft and the air still carries the quiet of early morning. The balloon is unpacked and laid out, and preparations begin. It usually takes about an hour.
You’re welcome to get involved or simply stand back and enjoy the calm as the balloon slowly takes shape and the burners come to life.
